A Space for the Mind to Wander
Therapy, relationships, philosophy, leadership, work, culture and more, because there are usually things that don’t fit particularly neatly into any of those categories.
This is where I write about the questions that arise both inside and outside the consulting room — sometimes prompted by research, sometimes by practice, sometimes by something I’ve read or seen, and sometimes by an idea that has simply refused to leave me alone.
There is already an enormous amount of advice telling us how to optimise ourselves. I don’t particularly want to add to the noise.
Not everything concerning mental health needs to become a list of five things to do before breakfast. Sometimes an idea is simply worth exploring. Sometimes a question is more useful than an answer, and sometimes understanding why we do something is considerably more interesting than being told to stop doing it.
This is a space for those conversations.

New writing will appear here soon.
In the meantime, you can find occasional thoughts elsewhere.
