You don’t need to know exactly what you need before getting in touch.

It isn’t often that we know the full scope of what we are looking for when we first begin asking for help. Mental health isn’t an area in which most of us receive much of an education until we find ourselves in a predicament where suddenly we need one.

So if things feel a bit much, and you are unsure what kind of support you might be looking for, you are very welcome to get in touch. I’m happy to give you a steer on what might be most useful — whether that means coming to see me, exploring neurofeedback, or perhaps seeking out an entirely different kind of intervention.

You don’t need to arrive with the right terminology, a diagnosis, or a perfectly formed explanation of what is happening. Sometimes putting a few feelers out is enough.

If you are feeling a little overwhelmed or lost, send me a note and we can work out what the most sensible next step might be.

Prefer to talk first?

Sometimes it is easier simply to have a short conversation. I keep a small number of 20-minute introductory calls available each week, giving us a chance to talk briefly about what has brought you here and what might be most helpful.
